e-Petitions inquiry

The House of Commons endorsed the Procedure Committee's proposal in 2007 to work up an e-petitioning system. Experience elsewhere, notably on the Number 10 Downing Street website, has demonstrated high levels of public interest and engagement with e-petitioning. The Procedure Committee has published its report into e-petitions for the House of Commons to consider.
